I’m working pretty hard right now. Ya’ll should be proud of me because being this productive is super hard. I have so many projects going on right now. First, I’m working on my debut novel “A Princely Problem”. I concentrating on the first act of the story. I wrote six chapters and now I’m going back to revise and rewrite.
No, I don’t wait until I am finished to edit my work. I find if I have a lot of work to do near the end of a draft that I will lose all motivation, so I edit in spurts. I split my writing in three acts and concentrate my full focus on just that part. Now, that doesn’t work in the hard editing phase (which is where my stories go through professional editing) but I digress.
I am so close working on ‘A Princely Problem’ for this year’s Camp NaNoWri and my goal was a meager 10k, but I have learned the hard way that if I give myself high expectations for myself, the pressure will get to me and I will crumble like a cookie. Keeping it low and attainable is the way to go.
I also working on rebooting my author’s blog Booked and Busy and doing the prep work for my podcast. Not to mention my Rian Fox projects, which are ‘The Devil’s Bargain’ and ‘Crave’. ‘The Devil’s Bargain is available for pre-orders right now, and I’m super emotional about it. When I tell ya’ll I bawled like a baby, I’m not even kidding. You can also add ‘The Devil’s Bargain’ to your ‘Want to Read’ list on Goodreads.
Honestly, I’m just busy and overwhelmed but this is the most satisfied I have ever felt about my career and I’m honestly can’t wait to share the fruits of all of my hard work with all of my readers.
